Jazmine Sullivan is an American artist, actress and singer who has gained critical acclaim in the years since her debut releases. Her work has been nominated for awards in various categories, including Best New Artist, Best Female R&B Vocal Performance Best Traditional R&B Performance Best R&B song, and the Best Contemporary R&B Album at the 51st Grammy Awards. Jazmine was born and raised to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her mother Pam was a backup singer for Philadelphia International Records. Her father invited her to take on an opportunity to be the curator at the Historic Strawberry Mansion. She together with her family then relocated into the iconic.
